The lens construction consists of 13 elements in 10 groups, with a maximum aperture of f/2.8 and 7 diaphragm blades. It supports both automatic and manual focusing modes, driven by a stepping motor. The minimum focusing distance is 0.121m, and the maximum magnification ratio is 1:2.8. Note that image stabilization is not included. The filter thread diameter is 55mm. The lens dimensions are 65.4x74.5mm, and it weighs 290g. Included in the package are front and rear caps, as well as a lens hood.
