The Leica Q2 | Disney “100 Years of Wonder” is a limited-edition camera released in April 2023 to commemorate Disney's 100th anniversary. This special edition celebrates a long-standing history between the two companies, dating back to Disney's use of Leica cameras and projectors for early storyboard animations.

Key Design Features

  • Unique Body Covering: The camera is wrapped in a special material reminiscent of 1930s tracing paper used by Disney animators, featuring Mickey Mouse drawings penned by Don Towsley in 1937.

  • Engravings: A classic Mickey Mouse motif is embossed on the camera's top plate.

  • Exclusive Accessories: The set includes a specially designed rope strap, a matching dust bag, and a certificate of authenticity.

Technical Specifications

This edition retains the high-performance hardware of the standard Leica Q2:

  • Sensor: 47.3 MP full-frame sensor.

  • Lens: Fixed Summilux 28mm f/1.7 ASPH lens with digital zoom options for 35, 50, and 75mm.

  • Video: 4K video recording capabilities at 30 or 24 frames per second.

  • Durability: IP52-rated protection against dust and spray.

Availability

  • Limited Run: Only 500 units were produced worldwide.
