Characteristics
The Sony Alpha A7R V body (ILCE-7RM5) is a mirrorless camera featuring a full-frame CMOS sensor measuring 35.7x23.8 mm with a resolution of 61 MP. It supports continuous shooting at up to 10 frames per second and can record video in 8K resolution (7680x4320) at 30 fps. The camera can shoot in JPEG and RAW formats, with video recorded in MPEG-4 AVC/H.264. The ISO range is 100-32000, expandable to ISO 50-102400. The minimum shutter speed is 1/8000 sec. It offers a 4x digital zoom, manual focus, and white balance adjustment. The exposure metering modes include matrix, center-weighted, and spot.
Equipped with a 3.2-inch (2,100,000 pixels) tilting touchscreen and an electronic viewfinder, it features Live View, a built-in microphone, an external flash socket, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth connectivity.
The image stabilization system is sensor-shift, and the autofocus system is phase/contrast detection. Memory card slots support SD (SDHC/SDXC) and CFexpress Type A. Interfaces include USB 3.2, Micro HDMI, and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
Powered by an NP-FZ100 battery, the body dimensions are 131x97x82 mm, and it weighs 723 g.
